The SIMATIC S7-300 CPU 313C-2 DP is a compact CPU module featuring an integrated PROFIBUS DP interface and MPI port, designed for medium-scale automation applications requiring distributed I/O connectivity. This versatile controller combines processor functionality with 16 integrated digital inputs and 16 digital outputs, eliminating the need for separate I/O modules in many applications. The CPU 313C-2 DP supports 3 high-speed counters operating at 30kHz, enabling position detection and motion control functions. Programming is performed using STEP 7 Professional with the classic S7-300 instruction set. The integrated PROFIBUS DP interface allows connection to ET 200 distributed I/O systems and PROFIBUS field devices, making it ideal for modular machine concepts. Entering classic phase since October 2024, this CPU offers reliable performance for maintaining existing S7-300 installations.
