Product Description
The MELSEC-F FX2N-4AD is a 4-channel analog input module designed to extend the measurement capabilities of FX2N and FX3U PLC systems to include real-world analog signals from sensors and transducers. This expansion module supports conversion of voltage signals (0-10V, 0-5V, +/-10V) and current signals (0-20mA, 4-20mA) with 12-bit resolution, providing 1 in 4096 measurement accuracy suitable for most process monitoring applications. The module features automatic channel scanning with a conversion time of 2.5ms per channel, ensuring that all four input channels are updated frequently enough for closed-loop control applications. Configuration is performed via PLC ladder logic using FROM/TO instructions, allowing the gain, offset, and averaging functions to be adjusted programmatically based on process requirements.
